The Pursuit of SAP ETL Greatness - To the Infinity!

The innovation at AecorSoft never stops. With the latest release of AecorSoft Data Integrator as the flagship standalone ELT tool from the AecorSoft Integration Service family, the performance tests against BKPF and BSEG are conducted again, which should be the new record for SAP ETL from SAP application layer.
Test Setup
Everything is same as the setup in previous test.
There are two modes of the data extraction through AecorSoft Data Integrator: the “Normal Turbo Mode”, and the “Extreme Turbo Mode”.
The “Normal Turbo Mode” is fundamentally the same used by AecorSoft Integration Service for SSIS/ADF, therefore, it is a good comparison against the SSIS scenario.
The “Extreme Turbo Mode” carries a special algorithm only available in AecorSoft Data Integrator. This algorithm cannot be ported to SSIS due to the intrinsic limitation of SSIS architecture and limited APIs.
Test Result - BKPF
Normal Turbo Mode
0.58 million rows of BKPF take 15.3 seconds to extract into CSV file, which is 6% faster than the SSIS mode at 16.2 seconds.
Extreme Turbo Mode
11.3 SECONDS!!! This really leads ahead of all other ETL tools by a large margin! From previous tests reported by partners and customers, we already know the Normal Turbo Mode sets a record in SAP ETL history. Now the Extreme Turbo Mode pushes the bar significantly higher!
Now let’s take a look at BSEG result.
Test Result - BSEG
Normal Turbo Mode
1.68 million rows of BSEG take 159.7 seconds to extract into CSV file, which is tidbit faster than SSIS mode’s performance at 161 seconds.
Extreme Turbo Mode
Once again, the Extreme Turbo Mode shines with 94.9 seconds!
